As I mentioned in my last post that I will post a list of Halal Restaurants in NYC which I got from my New Yorker friend. I wanted to add that for Muslims living in China or other countries with Muslim majorities getting Chinese food is not a problem but for Muslims living as minorities in many countries getting halal authentic Chinese food can be a challenge i.e., eating something other than vegetarian food. As I mentioned before many Chinese people will attest the ‘Chinese food’ that we get in many countries is watered down version of the real Chinese food. Thus I was really impressed a few years ago when I found a Chinese restaurant in the middle of downtown Manhattan in New York City staffed and run by non-Muslim Chinese people which served only dabiha/zabiha halal meat and did not serve alcohol because it was catered specifically for Muslims! Interestingly one may find many halal restaurants in New York run by Muslims which do serve alcohol but here was a restaurant run by non-Muslim Chinese who target audience is Muslims who followed all the that Muslims are supposed to follow. May Allah bless them. (I forgot where is the restaurant but I have heard that there used to be a Mosque near by the restaurant but it was moved later on. If anyone knows then let me know.) In any case here is the list of Halal Chinese restaurant for the benefit of people living in New York. NYC is a big city so I wouldn’t be surprised if there are many more Halal Chinese restaurants in NYC.

salam aleykum brother,
Thanks for the list of Chinese restaurants. My family will go crazy when they hear about this.
I hope you don’t mind me saying this: “Seek knowledge even if you have to go as far as China, for seeking knowledge is a duty on every Muslim,” is a fabricated narration.
